Slack is a communication app that helps teams collaborate effectively. It allows users to send messages, share files, and integrate with other tools all in one place

You can use Slack to send your survey responses to your various teams, so that everyone is aware of important suggestions or the results of the survey.

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  • A Screeb account with administrative access.

  • Access to your Slack workspace where you want to share metrics.

  • Sufficient permissions to configure integrations in both Screeb and Slack.

Here's how to connect Screeb to Slack:

1️⃣ Install the Slack integration on Screeb

Go to your Screeb account, and click on the Integrations link in the menu.

Then, look for Slack and click on "Install"

Look for the option to connect Screeb to Slack. This is typically represented as a "Connect Slack Account" button.

Click on the "Connect Slack Account" button to initiate the integration process.

2️⃣ Authenticate with Slack

  • You will be redirected to Slack for authentication.

  • Log in to your Slack account if prompted.

  • Grant the necessary permissions to Screeb to access your Slack workspace.

3️⃣ Configure Slack Integration in Screeb

After authentication, go to one of your surveys in Screeb. In the "Analyze" section, navigate to the "All Responses" report.

Click on the "Share" button. In the sidebar that appears, click on "Via Slack"

Select the "slack channel" and then on the "Save" purple button on the lower right corner.

By following these steps, you have established an integration between Screeb and Slack, streamlining the sharing of important data and metrics. This can enhance communication within your team and support data-driven decision-making.

Enjoy using Screeb with Slack! 🎉

Tips & Bonus

For reasons of security and confidentiality, we only ask for permission to display public channels, so those that are private do not appear.

You can either set up automatic sharing of feedback directly on the survey > "Analyze" > "All reponses" and then "Share" via Slack. Each time a user answers your questions, this will be communicated to Slack as a feedback. Or manually send specific feedback, open the answer and send to Slack and then choose the Channel.

We are currently working on filters to improve sharing via slack based on certain responses or criteria. This should be available soon.
