Everyday in our emails, text messages or on social media, when we want to insist on something, we use text formatting. Bold, italic are the main ones but we also underline or add links to share our ideas.

You can also format your text in questions you add to your Screeb surveys. Here's how:

1️⃣ Add a new question to your survey (or edit an existing one)

Select the survey you want to edit, and click on Edit in the header menu.

Now, click on + to add a new question, or on an existing question to edit it. It will open a sidebar on the right of your screen.

In that sidebar, you have a field to edit the content of your question.

2️⃣ Use basic HTML tags

To format some text in your question, you have to use basic HTML tags: <u> to underline, <i> for italic, <b> for bold, <s> for strikethrough or <a> to add a link.

Examples:

Let's say you want to format your question like this:

Hey! On a scale of zero to ten, how likely are you to recommend our app to a friend or colleague?
(0: not likely - 10: very likely)

This is how you will write it in Screeb:

Hey! <b>On a scale of zero to ten</b>, how likely are you to recommend our app to a friend or colleague?
<i>(0: not likely - 10: very likely)</i>

Or if you want to have a link in your question, like this!

You will write it like this in Screeb:

Would you agree to have <b>a quick call to talk about it?</b> <a href="https://calendly.com/screeb">Here are my availabilities!</a>

3️⃣ Save your question

Don't forget to save your question using the Save button in the bottom right corner.

And that's it!
