Introduction to URL Builder

The URL Builder is a tool used by some interaction of Screeb surveys.

Currently, Email and Link interaction are using this tool.

The URL Builder lets you add custom properties to your URL in a user-friendly way. These properties are encoded and linked to the user when they click the URL.

Parameters are saved in your navigator on a Workspace Level. This means you can find the same Parameters set for the Survey A on the Survey B. This allows you to easily reuse and adapt parameters for your survey campaigns.

Some parameters are automatically recognised by Screeb system, and have a specific use:

Parameter Key	Use Case
respondent_id	Used to identify the user who click on the link. Can be set to anything used to identify the user, such as an id, or an email.Can also be set to a template value that your Emailing tool will later recognise and replace dynamically with the correct user identifier. Example: {{email}}
title	Used to customise the title of the page where the user will answer the survey.

Once you are done customising your parameters, you can copy the Result, as a link for Link Surveys, or as a HTML Template for Email Surveys.

👉 Use value placeholders for your favorite email campaign tool! Example: key=respondent_id → value= {{email}} Your tool will recognise the survey and replace it with the actual value.
