Connect to Screeb MCP Server

Screeb MCP Server

Connect Screeb to your favorite AI assistant and ask questions about your product data in plain language β€” no dashboards, no exports, no SQL.
The Screeb MCP server lets tools like Claude, Cursor, and other AI assistants securely reach your Screeb workspaces and answer questions such as "What are users complaining about this month?" or "Compare NPS across all my workspaces."

What you can do with it

Once connected, you can ask your assistant about anything in your Screeb data, for example:

  • Surveys & feedback β€” "Summarize the dissatisfaction topics from my NPS survey over the last 30 days."
  • Messages β€” "How did my onboarding message perform last week?"
  • Users & segments β€” "How many users triggered the checkout event but never completed it?"
  • Sessions & heatmaps β€” "Which pages have the most rage clicks?" or "What do users do on the pricing page?"
  • AI agent conversations β€” "What are the top unsupported requests my copilot received this quarter?"
  • Across workspaces β€” "Compare satisfaction scores across all my workspaces."

Your assistant turns these questions into the right Screeb queries and replies with a synthesized answer.

Before you start

You'll need:

  1. A Screeb account, with membership in the organization you want to connect.
  2. An AI assistant that supports MCP with OAuth login (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, and others).

Step 1 β€” Point your assistant at Screeb

Add the Screeb MCP server to your assistant using this URL:

https://mcp.screeb.app/mcp

No token to create or copy: your assistant automatically discovers how to sign in with Screeb and will open a Screeb login window.

⚠️ Account on a dedicated environment? A small number of accounts run on their own dedicated Screeb infrastructure, with their own domain and their own MCP server URL instead of mcp.screeb.app. If that's your case, use the URL specific to your environment (your Screeb contact can confirm it if you're not sure) β€” using the default URL above won't work for these accounts.

Step 2 β€” Log in and grant access

  1. Sign in with your usual Screeb account.
  2. On the consent screen, pick the organization you want this assistant to access.
  3. Click Allow.

Your assistant is now connected β€” it only has access to the one organization you picked, and only for as long as you keep that access granted.

Step 3 β€” Ask your first question

Once connected, just talk to your assistant normally. Try:

"Using Screeb, what are the top satisfaction and dissatisfaction topics from my surveys this month?"

Your assistant will connect to Screeb, pull the relevant data, and reply with a summary.

Choosing a workspace

Your organization can contain several workspaces. When you ask a question, Screeb figures out which workspace to use:

  • If your organization has one workspace, it's used automatically.
  • If you have several, your assistant will ask you to pick one β€” or you can name it directly: "…in the Marketing workspace."
  • To compare across your whole organization, just say "across all workspaces."

You can also ask "List my Screeb workspaces" at any time to see what's available.

Managing connected assistants

Every assistant you've authorized shows up in your Account settings β†’ Connected applications, with the organization it was granted and when it was last used.

  • Revoke access β€” click Revoke next to an application to cut its access immediately. It will need to go through the login and consent screen again to reconnect.
  • Access is granted per organization: revoking one doesn't affect another organization you may have connected the same assistant to.

Keeping your data safe

  • Only grant access to assistants you trust, and only for the organization you actually want it to query.
  • Review Connected applications from time to time and revoke anything you no longer use.
  • If an assistant behaves unexpectedly, revoke it first and reconnect afterwards.

Troubleshooting

My assistant can't find/connect to the Screeb MCP server

  • Double-check the server URL: https://mcp.screeb.app/mcp (or your dedicated environment's URL if you have one β€” see the note in Step 1).
  • Make sure your assistant supports MCP with OAuth login (not just a static bearer token).

The login window doesn't show my organization

  • You need to be a member of that organization with your Screeb account β€” ask an admin to invite you if it's missing.

It doesn't know which workspace to use

  • Name the workspace in your question, or answer the prompt when your assistant asks.
  • Say "across all workspaces" for an organization-wide answer.

I want to disconnect an assistant

  • Go to Account settings β†’ Connected applications and click Revoke next to it.

The assistant returns no data

  • Confirm you're pointing at the right workspace and time period.
  • Make sure the workspace actually has data for what you're asking (e.g., survey responses, sessions, or agent conversations).
